MEGCOMM was founded in 1985, when now principal owner Mike Gorga, a freelance film and video professional, and Tom "Pepper" Martin, a former newspaper publisher and public relations firm owner, joined forces to create high performing films and videos for discriminating corporations and businesses.
Mr. Martin, principal stockholder at the time, sold his interest in the studio to Gorga, Joe D'Angelo and Tom Mooney in 1988. For over 21 years MEGCOMM has been synonymous with high performance production that delivers a return on the client's investment in corporate videos, television commercials and a wide range of media projects.

A 28 year professional with regional, national and international credits, MEGCOMM's surviving founder brings intense focus, deep assimilation, a vivid "mind's eye" and a passion for the art of filmmaking to every project. This award winning professional also has the knack of "keeping it light", providing an outstanding climate for making creative work both on-set and in the editing room.

Joe came to MEGCOMM in 1988 and has managed day-to-day business responsibilities ever since. Highly organized and disciplined, this 18 year pro keeps sets functioning well and makes certain the business-side of production is buttoned up, enablling both client and creative staff to focus on producing media projects that deliver on the investment.

This 21 year professional is responsible for both shooting & editing on some projects and serves as the key person in getting MEGCOMM projects delivered whether on tape, DVD CD-ROM or compressed/encoded files for the internet. Tom brings a relentless work ethic to the table and his car may be seen in our lot anytime 24/7/365!
